Planetary concrete vibrators, also known as eccentric or rotating-head vibrators, are designed to deliver optimal concrete compaction. They operate by utilizing a rotating eccentric weight mechanism within a cylindrical vibrating head, which generates centrifugal force and high-frequency oscillations ranging from 10,000 - 15,000 RPM. This unique mechanism enables them to effectively eliminate honeycombing and air voids, achieving a compaction efficiency of over 98% while maintaining proper aggregate distribution. With a frequency range of 150 - 250 Hz and an amplitude of 0.5 - 2.5mm (depending on the head size), these vibrators can cover a concrete area 6 - 15 times the head diameter, typically within a radius of 300 - 900mm. They are particularly effective for reinforced concrete, precast elements, and high-slump mixtures, making them versatile for various construction applications.
